i am in destin florida, a small but paradise type town with it's sugar white sand and crystal clear turquoise waters. while helping my sister out with her "presh" bath and body store, tales by the sea someone walked in the shoppe and asked, "Where can i find sea shells??"
interesting timing, she asked me right when i was brainstorming with sis on how to be a success in these troubled times. my thought was to change the approach and reassess our strategies. it sparked something in me and got me thinking about our view of money and how to acquire it.
what if we shift our perspective a bit. let's say a dollar is a sea shell. where do you find sea shells? is it a matter of working harder or working smarter in the search? does one scour the beach all day long?? or does one wake up early in hopes of finding the big and perfect shells? or perhaps going to a remote spot where no one else has thought of to get the mother load of sea shells.
i mean, think about it. if the goal is to get the most shells one can...would we change our methods in acquiring sea shells?? or maybe the goal is to simply to find enough shells to sit back and enjoy their beauty. to have just enough to escape...,
speaking of escape, the hand painted sea shells pictured here from tales by the sea are the very ones i ended up selling to the customer who was searching for sea shells and more. these custom made shells truly exude the beauty of the beach and what inspires us all.

i adore your new blog! can't wait to see what you pick as HAUTE STUFF. great job.
